A web site called SlickDeals.net saved me $120 off of a new Axim x50v Pocket PC this morning. That was on top of Dell's already discounted price. That's a $500 pda for $280!

Most of the discounts are on electronics. If you don't find what you're looking for on the main site try searching the forums.

What's Greg listening to?

I just discovered that AudioScrobbler has an iTunes for Windows plugin. That means that now you can see what I'm listening to while I'm at work. Yes, the ole Scrobbler has been collecting my music listening habits on my home PC for more than a year but since I'm online more at work more than I am at home it's been wanting for some input.

The Porn Industry Targets Cell Phones

Ron Luce's "Battle Cry" web site has an article that I think every parent needs to read. Pornography is coming at our kids from every angle. Every new technology that comes along is almost instantly co-opted as a delivery method for porn. So it should come as no suprise to anyone that the porn industry has it's eyes on cell phones.

"In 2004, cell phone users spent nearly $400 million on pornographic pictures and video, an amount expected to reach more than $5 billion by 2010, a recent survey found. And according to an International Data Corporation analyst, teenagers between 5 and 19 years old 'are five times more likely to pay for and download graphics then their adult counterparts.'"

4More's New Site

I'm just about done with 4More's web site. I have a few more songs to encode for their "audio" page and I'll have to show thier moms how to add stuff to the news page but that's pretty much all there is to it.

4More is a local singing group made up of four young girls (including Miami's own Jordan Furr). Go check the site out and don't forget to register and give them a shout out on their guestbook.
