One More Week!

Season 13 of Survivor starts in one week. If this season is like the last few seasons then the fantasy league will give you the first episode to get to know the players and then start scoring with the second episode. The Fantasy League page for season 13 is not up yet. But there are a few things you can do now to get ready.

First make sure that you still have your username and password from last season. If you still remember it then you can confirm that it still works by logging in on the Fantasy League page for Season 12.

Season 12: Fantasy League

If you have forgotten your username, or it does not work, then you can click the "Forgot Username" link at the bottom of the login page. You will be asked for the email address that you gave CBS when you first signed up for the Fantasy League. They will send your username to your email address.

Season 12: Login Recovery Page

If you are sure that your username is correct but you have forgotten your password then you will have to go to CBS Sportsline to get a new password. CBS has a unified registration for all of its web sites. CBS Sportsline is the only site I've found where they have provided a way to make changes to your account.

CBS will not tell you what your password was, they will delete the old password, assign you a new random password, and then send the new password to your email address. The instructions for retieving your password are buried in their help section so just use the link below to jump to the correct page. You will need your username and your date of birth.

If you have to get CBS to issue you a new password then you may want to change it to something that is easier for you to remember. Again, you can do that on the CBS Sportsline web site but you will have to log in with the new password that they assigned you.

If these steps don't work for you then you may have to resort to setting up a new account.

The other thing you can do to get ready for Fantasy League is to get to know the players from this season. The full site for season 13 is not online but the player profiles are. Remember, you will pick 4 players to be on your Fantasy League team. You probably won't need to pick those players until after first episode and you can change them between every episode. The points you earn in the beginning are very important because as the tribes shrink everyone begins to have the same players on their team. Then it becomes more difficult to get a point advantage over the other members of your Fantasy League tribe.
